Amphidromus adamsii f. ornata – Superb pattern! Very rare!

Caught on high trees, Feb 2020. A thin line side dorsum. A minor peck mark below spire. Rarest of the adamsii forms, only 1 left and no more.

Callistocypraea broderipii – beautiful and rare

Collected by scuba diver at near 50-60 meters deep in caves, off Aliwal Shoal, Natal south coast zone. 2 tiny drill holes on base. A mark and a tiny drill hole on upper dorsum.

6~12m deep, sandy coral bottom, 2024. Dorsum with sponge attacks. Some minor nicks on the upper shield.

Trawled in Marang area, off Kuala Terengganu at 150ft depth on sandy bottom, 17th Feb 1978.

Live netted off Perhentian Island. The WRS is a freak with extended spire, these are regular low spire specimen in large size.

Conus gloriamaris – Giant (142.0mm), largest specimen we ever had! Great quality for this size!

Tangle nets 100~120m. Protoconch chipped. Thickened lip. Sponge hole on the dorsum as seen in picture. Very minor scar on the lower dorsal.

Tangle Nets 100-120 m. A minor nick lower lip. A 2cm scar near upper lip and a short scar side of dorsum, a thin scar near lower lip.

Conus milneedwardsi clytospira – Giant! (154.7mm), dark pattern!

Trawled at 90 to 130 meters deep, August 2023. Some minor chips on upper lip. Minor hairline scars near to lower lip and on spire area. Over all, very nice for this size!

Collected by local fishermen 5-20m. Slight nick at the lip and protoconch.

Conus omaria – From Pulau Tioman, Malaysia, Exceptional endemic form! Superb pattern and quality! Very large (71.7mm)!

From Pulau Tioman near Mersing, 18th Sept 1977. Tiny spire preserved! This possibly represents an endemic form, or maybe subspecies of C. omaria. Ex collection of the late Mr. Michael Chew. Note: I checked the WRS Conus omaria and it seems to be a Conus episcopatus. Omaria seldom grow bigger than 80mm in my experience. True WRS should be only 80+mm.

Trawled by Thai boats 80~120m. No scars which is rare in this scar prone species!
