Conus victoriae (Queen Victoria cone)

The Queen Victoria cone lives in shallow water and inter tidally endemic to Australia. A molluscivore probably related to Conus textile but differs in reticulations that are mostly smaller and contrasting with the bands of very dark chocolate longitudinal stripes with bluish clouds. Known synonym is Conus nodulosus and conus complanatus. Giant specimens may reach possibly 90mm.
