Conus litteratus (Lettered cone)

A large cone, similar to conus leopardus and occurs sympatrically sometimes in the same habitat. Occurs throughout the Indo-Pacific except the Red Sea and Hawaii. Leopardus lacks the yellowish bands, dark canal and somewhat higher spire.
