Conus pulcher pulcher (Butterfly cone)

The biggest cone in the world, maybe not the heaviest but definitely the longest, growing above 250mm. The butterfly cone is devided into 2 subspecies, the ones from East Alantic ~ West Africa are the nominate subspecies and the ones from Maedeira to the Canary Islands are called pulcher siamensis. The nominate subspecies are bigger.
