Bistolida hirundo rouxi

Named in honour of J.-B. Roux who found the shell in New Caledonia.
Oval, inflated. Teeth coarse and distant. General colour bluish grey.
Lives under boulders, intertidal to 25m.
The name was originally introduced for a rostrate NC freak and only later generalized to describe the Pacific subspecies for Hirundo.
