Lambis millepeda (Millipede spider conch)

This species occurs in the Indian Ocean off Madagascar and in the Southwest Pacific Ocean. As it’s name suggest has miltiple spines and easily recognizable. In the Philippines regularly interbreeds with lambis lambis because both are very common and found in close proximity. Even I found some myself living together in the same area and depth. Regularly also interbreeds with Lambis truncata (Lambis arachnoides).
